There are kits that you can buy called bottle brew kits. They have everything that you need to start brewing in the comfort of your own home. All you do with this kit is take the two liter bottle and drop some yeast in it. That’s all you need to do, just let it sit for a while.

The two most important things that you are going to need for this are a thermometer and a measuring cup. You need to use the thermometer to get the temperature at its warmest and a measuring cup for the yeast.
All Grain Brew
In this process you will need to mash the grains. It is the most difficult step because you must do it right the first time or else you will have ruined you beer. If that happens, you will have to start the process over again. That could end up costing you lots of money.
You are going to need a large pot for the brewing process in access of over five gallons. That can be rather expensive and may not fit on your existing stove.
