The first thing that you’ll need is space. You cannot obviously brew beer in your home if you don’t have the appropriate space. The best location to start this is in an area that offers little light and warm temperatures. You can start with your garage, if you have one.
There are kits that you can buy called bottle brew kits. They have everything that you need to start brewing in the comfort of your own home. All you do with this kit is take the two liter bottle and drop some yeast in it. That’s all you need to do, just let it sit for a while.

Extract Brew
In this process you need to boil the wort in order to have brew. This is a longer way of making ale, but if it is something that you’re dedicated to then you’ll enjoy this hobby. The two most important things that you are going to need for this are a thermometer and a measuring cup. You need to use the thermometer to get the temperature at its warmest and a measuring cup for the yeast.
All Grain Brew
In this process you will need to mash the grains. It is the most difficult step because you must do it right the first time or else you will have ruined you beer. If that happens, you will have to start the process over again. That could end up costing you lots of money.
You are going to need a large pot for the brewing process in access of over five gallons. That can be rather expensive and may not fit on your existing stove.
